Dr. Donghoon Lee joined UM Civil Engineering as a Canada Research Chair Tier-2 in Climate Resilient Water and Food Security and as an Assistant Professor in January 2024. His research advances the understanding of both short- and long-term climate risks and their impacts on human society across various sectors, including water resources, agriculture, and disaster management. He applies climate, environmental, and societal data to quantify their interactions and address challenges posed by a changing climate.
